Story descriptions are the perfect way to give your audience a preview of each story's content and are critical to drive engagement. In fact, several Pass It Down templates use story descriptions on the landing page.
To add a story short description, follow the three easy steps laid out below.
Step 1: In your story, scroll about halfway down the page to the words "Story Short Description." Select that field and type in your short description. There is no character limit.
Step 2: If you would like to leave your story unpublished as a draft, leave the "Status" field as "Draft."
If you would like to publish the story, select the "Status" tab and choose the "Published" option.
Step 3: Select the "Save Story" button at the bottom right corner of the page to save your short description.
Your story now has a short description!
