Adding a YouTube video is incredibly easy on the Pass It Down platform.
Step 1: In your story, click on the button with the YouTube logo and the word "YouTube" below.
A pop-up window will appear.
Step 2: In YouTube, copy the link for the video you wish to add to your story. Make sure to use the URL at the top and not the link that you are given when you click the "Share" button.
Step 3: Paste the link into the pop-up window that appeared on the Pass It Down Website.
Step 4: Click the "Save" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up window.
Your YouTube video will appear on the main story page. Surrounding it will be places to add a caption, see a preview, and delete the video from your story.
Step 5: Click the "Save Story" button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to save your YouTube video and anything else you have added to your story.
Your story now has a YouTube video attached!
