Pass It Down has made it simple and easy to add audio content to your stories.
Step 1: Once in your story, scroll down to the round purple button with the word "Audio" underneath. Click on that button.
Step 2: A pop-up window will open. Choose the audio recording you wish to upload and click "open." The pop-up window will look different depending on your browser, operating system, etc.
Your audio recording will appear above the "Audio" button. Next, you can insert a caption, preview, download, or discard the audio recording.
You may add as many audio recordings as you would like by repeating steps 1-2.
Step 3: When you have added all your audio recordings, click the "Save Story" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
A progress bar will appear at the bottom of the page indicating the upload status of your audio recording(s). Do not refresh or close the page; it will close automatically once the audio recording(s) have been uploaded. Closing or refreshing the page will cause your new audio recording(s) to be lost.
Your story now has audio recording(s)!
